1930 Paul Burkhard bronze Lorraine bridge commemorative medal

This bronze medal by the Swiss sculptor Paul Burkhard (1888-1964) commemorates the building of the Lorraine bridge over the River Aare in Bern Switzerland.

The obverse depicts a kneeling nude female, looking left to right, holding a plumb line with the Lorraine bridge in the background.
It is signed "P Burkhard Lugano".

The reverse has the Bern coat of arms with the words "Lorraine Brucke in Bern erbaut 1927 1930"
