1999 silver & gilt brooch in the shape of a stylised plankton by Sarah Parker-Eaton

This wonderful silver brooch is by Sarah Parker-Eaton.

Made of silver, the plankton has a textured segmented body and silver gilt fins.

The reverse is hallmarked by the London Assay Office for 1999 & silver and bears the marker's/sponsor's mark "SPE".
The reverse also has pierced decoration that appear to be plankton.
It has a metal pin & roller fastener.
