A 1940s - 1950s lucite powder compact

This very stylish square compact is made of lucite. The top has a round blue coloured patterned section underneath which is the internal mirror. Each corner of the compact is carved on the underside. The base also has a circular patterned section which would have held the loose powder. The compact has retained its powder puff and voile material grille.
