A boulder opal diamond & 14ct yellow gold pendant on a 14ct yellow gold chain

This lovely contemporary design 14ct yellow gold pendant comprises 4 layers.
Each layer contains a square rubover set boulder opal opposite a round rubover diamond that is set into the outer frame of the pendant.
The layers are designed to give a block paving effect.

The 14ct yellow gold loop has a rear fastening with a figure of 8 clasp to enable it to be worn on a thicker chain or as an enhancer on a string of pearls or beads giving a versatile wear.
The loop is stamped "14K" and with another indistinct mark and hangs on a 14ct yellow gold fancy link chain.
