This beautiful Jewels by Scarab ring has been made to Alan's design using a green tourmaline that he has cut from rough material selected by him and French cut diamonds that he has personally selected.
In the centre of the platinum ring is a cushion cut green tourmaline set in four 18ct yellow gold bar claws within an 18ct yellow gold basket setting.
On each side of the tourmaline are 3 French cut diamonds each set in mille-grained rubover platinum settings.
The diamonds have been set at an angle down each side of the tourmaline with the middle diamond being set slightly higher than the other two diamonds.
The platinum shank broadens at the base and has been hallmarked by the London Assay Office for platinum & 18ct gold, 2022 and bears the Queen's Platinum Jubilee mark and the sponsor's mark "A&SP" for Alan & Sue Poultney.
Lasered into the shank is the word "Scarab" and the winged beetle logo.
