In the centre of this striking textured 18ct yellow gold ring is a triangular almandine garnet set in an 18ct yellow gold rubover setting. The rich red almandine garnet was cut many years ago by Alan's father Sidney Poultney (who taught Alan to cut) since when it has been in Alan's collection of stones. The ring has been made to Alan's design and is hallmarked by the London Assay Office for 18ct gold 2019 & bears the sponsor's mark "A&SP: for Alan & Sue Poultney.
