An Italian silver topped wooden box by Ottaviani

This delightful box is by the Italian company Ottaviani. The square wooden top lifts off and has an inset silver section with wave-like textures and a silver fish finial. The silver inset is signed "Ottaviani" and stamped 925 in an oval cartouche and in another lozenge shaped cartouche is stamped "8 MC"
