This superb piece was made in the Art Deco period.
It consists of sections of twisted ropes of tiny white beads interspersed with clusters of amber pear shaped glass beads.
A drop of twisted white bead ropes ending in a cluster of amber pear shaped glass beads hangs from the central amber cluster.
There is no fastener - the necklace has to be put on over the head.
We believe that this necklace also belonged to Lila Boddam mezzo soprano who also owned the red & white glass cluster necklace that is on the website.
We bought both necklaces together with the dress pieces and photograph album at the same time.
