Art Deco bakelite lidded pot

This lovely Art Deco lidded pot is in butterscotch bakelite. The body of the round pot is ribbed and the lid which is a slightly darker butterscotch colour has a flat sided disc finial. The base of the pot is is a round circle of bakelite that is a slightly greenish yellow colour with a marble vein, the vein only being visible when the pot is viewed from the base. Very stylish and very useful!
