Art Deco opalescent & clear glass & chrome uplighter

This wonderful uplighter was made in the 1930s. It has a round chrome base above which is a double domed cap of moulded opalescent glass with 6 arches that have abstract decorated tops reminiscent of melting ice. Above this section is a clear glass ball leading to a chrome gallery into which the flared white glass shade fits. The shade fits over the bulb holder and is held in place by three screws and the removable ring that screws onto the top of the bulb holder.

Approximate dimensions:
Weight: 6.4lbs - 2903gms
Height: 15.04ins - 38.2cms
Diameter of base: 9.57ins - 24.3cms
Diameter of shade: 13.78ins - 35cms
