This wonderful table with integral uplighter was made during the 1930s probably in France. The table has a closed back and two shelves, the bottom shelf being the base. The stem for the uplighter runs from the base and there are three chrome tubes between the two shelves running from the back to the stem. At the top of the wooden stem is a tiered chrome cup into which the opaque white glass uplighter shade fits. This is a very neat, well proportioned piece of furniture, not clumpy like many of the uplighter tables. In short, one of the nicest ones that I have seen.
