Bertil Vallien for Kosta Boda Satellite bottle vase

This very attractive Satellite bottle vase model 7089252 was designed by Bertil Vallien for Kosta Boda. The base is a vibrant yellow inlaid with various coloured pieces of glass a rectangular patch of bronze coloured glass and several zanfirico canes. The sloping angular shoulders leads to a clear glass neck ending in a flattened top. The front and back are not identically patterned. There is an applied ring of orange coloured glass around the neck approximately one-third of the way up.
The centre of the base is inscribed " Kosta Boda B Vallien 7089252" and it has a clear Kosta Boda Studio sticker.
