Carlton Ware 1950s blue lustre dish in New Stork pattern

This lovely shallow blue lustre dish was made by Carlton Ware in the 1950s. The blue lustre background is mottled in dark blue/black and is decorated with the New Stork pattern depicting two gilded and jewelled enamelled storks standing in water and enamelled reeds beneath a weeping gilded and enamelled tree.
The dish has scalloped edges with a handle that has alternating bands of gilding and blue lustre.
The shallow foot is gilded and the base is signed Carlton Ware in gold script with impressed pattern numbers.

Very good with slight loss to gilding on the edge of one scallop and one of the corners of the handle.
