Contemporary serrated edge metal brooch with red patinated finish

This is a very unusual brooch.

It is shaped as rectangular box frame with serrated edges.
It has a red patinated finish overall with applied decoration on the front frame.
The inset "picture" has been riveted into the box frame and has an oxidised finish with an applied sinuous silver metal decoration.
It has a metal pin and roller fastener.
