Cowdy Glass Workshop small conical decanter

Another but smaller elegant conical decanter by Cowdy Glass Workshop the Gloucestershire glass blowing studio. It is a mottled tri-colour starting with the blue stopper and neck, bleeding into pink for the top two-thirds of the base below the neck which in turn bleeds into amber for the bottom third. At the base of the neck is a coiled collar of glass. The base is scratch signed "Cowdy" and has a flower shaped pontil. Giving an exact date is difficult but it is certainly post 1978, as that was the year Pauline Solven and her husband Harry opened the studio.

Approximate dimensions:
Weight: 1lb 2ozs - 511gms
Height: 7.24ins - 18.4cms
Diameter of base: 4.57ins - 11.6cms
