This wonderful shallow footed bowl or coupe is by the French company Daum and was made during the Art Deco period.
The cognac coloured bowl/coupe has a wide smooth polished top that sweeps down into the footed base.
The underside is acid etched with a geometric pattern and the side of the footed base is signed "Daum Nacy France" and has the Cross of Lorraine mark.
This displays to its best advantage on a stand and makes a perfect grouping when displayed with the Daum oversized vase and the amber coloured flared vase that are on the site!
