Georg Jensen boxed Acorn pattern silver & stainless steel carving set

This lovely carving knife set is by the Danish designer Georg Jensen and was probably made in the 1950s - 60s. The silver handles of both the carving knife and carving fork have an acorn finial atop a domed octagonal tapering elongated handle with decoration top and bottom. Both handles are stamped with the Georg Jensen mark, namely an oval cartouche stamped "Georg Jensen" within a surround of dots. they are also both stamped "Denmark Sterling". The blade of the knife and the fork section of the fork are made of stainless steel and both are marked "Georg Jensen Stainless". The set is presented in a long rectangular turquoise box with grey interior tray. the lid of the box has a padded cream silk lining and the exterior is embossed with the silver crowned Georg Jensen mark.
