What an amazing set! This dressing table set is French and made in the Art Deco period by the French company Les Cristalleries de Nancy to a design by Jean Luce (attrib). It consists of a black lacquer tray with chrome handles into which fit 6 pieces, being 3 bottles, a vase, a pintray and a scent bottle with black atomiser. The three bottles have black lacquered tops covering the original stoppers and all the pieces have the same acid etched geometric decoration so typical of Jean Luce. None of the pieces are signed but the accompanying framed original Les Cristalleries de Nancy advertisement from the French magazine "L'Illustration" for 29 December 1929 features one of the bottles in this set albeit with black enamel. We are satisfied that this set never had black enamel on the glass.
This would grace any dressing or other type of table and is so evocative of the elegance and luxury of the Art Deco period.
