A lovely elegant handmade Jewels by Scarab emerald & diamond ring.
In the centre of the ring is a square emerald set in 4 18ct yellow gold split claws.
There are 3 bar claw set baguettes in each platinum shoulder that graduate in size and are set so that they step down from each other to the platinum shank.
The middle section of each side of the collet holding the emerald has been been diamond set with a total of 11 small round diamonds.
The ring is hallmarked by the London Assay Office for platinum, 18ct gold and for 2018 and with the sponsor's mark "A&SP" for Alan & Sue Poultney.
Alan has recut the emerald from a larger stone.

The emerald bears a certificate from the Gem & Pearl Laboratory London dated 25 March 2015 stating that the emerald is natural with evidence of significant clarity enhancement i.e. it has been oiled. the stone was oiled before we acquired and it and Alan recut it.
