This beautiful Jewels by Scarab pendant has been made to Alan's design using tourmalines that he has cut from the rough material that he personally selected.
The two pear shape pink tourmalines have been set point to point within a platinum diamond set frame.
The frame is made as a continuous line that flows around the tourmalines from the top right to the top left, when viewed from the front, ending in a cradle through which the platinum chain flows.
Both tourmalines are set in three pairs of fine 18ct rose gold split claws.
An 18ct rose gold openwork gallery comprising a series of "V" shapes separates the platinum polished base from the platinum diamond set top.
The base is hallmarked by the London Assay office for platinum & 18ct gold, for 2022 and bears the Queen's Platinum Jubilee mark and the sponsor's mark "A&SP" for Alan & Sue Poultney.
Lasered into the base is the word "Scarab" and the winged beetle logo.
