Kenneth Jay Lane for Avon gold tone & rhinestones & paste snake brooch

This very elegant brooch consists of two intertwined snakes. The head and top part of the body of each snake is pave set with white rhinestones with a large red cabochon paste stone set in the centre of each head. The remainder of the body of each snake is set with four blue cabochon paste stones. No other jewellery required!

Avon brought out its first collection of jewellery in 1979. It later collaborated with a number of famous designers and personalities to produce ranges of jewellery. Kenneth Jay Lane was one of the designers with whom Avon collaborated.
