"Kraka" vase designed by Sven Palmqvist for Orrefors

This wonderful vase was designed by Sven Palmqvist for Orrefors the Swedish glass company and was made circa 1965. The squat bottle vase features an intense purple/blue neck and the body has an outer casing of clear case that encases a pink internal body with a double honeycomb design of pink and purple/blue. It is signed "Orrefors Kraka Nr 537 Sven Palmqvist". This design is based on the earlier "Kraka" design of the 1950s.
