Lauscha mercury glass penguin

This lovely mercury glass penguin was made in Lauscha Germany. Probably made in the 1930s, the penguin is on a triangular clear glass cane base. It has red glass feet and beak, black flippers, a white front and small round black eyes. The back of the penguin is mercury glass. This is a lovely tactile piece and (forgive the pun) feather light!
