Manufacture de L'Alfenide/Christofle silver plated Art Deco tazza

This is a superb Art Deco silver plated tazza designed by Luc Lanel for Manufacture de L'Alfenide/Christofle.

The round domed base supports a round ridged pedastel beneath a broad round concave top.
The underside of the top is stamped with the Christofle mark of the knight chess piece between the letters "O" & "C" and with "Alfenide" in a long rectangular box with the goat's head mark between the letters "8' & "4", the latter mark being used by Manufacture de L'Alfenide, a branch of Christofle, until 1931.
