A fantastic bronze medal as you would expect from the French sculptor & medalist Maurice Delannoy.
The obverse depicts a naked woman standing amongst the rays of the cinema projector with her arms outstretched with a crescent shaped panel depicting animals, birds people planes and other objects presumably all the subject of films.
The word "Cinema" is across the base of the obverse that is signed "M Delannoy". The reverse depicts a blank cinema screen on a stage with several wings and empty seats in front. The rim is stamped "Bronze" and has the cornucopia mark of La Monnaie de Paris.
