Michael Hunter for Twists Glass incalmo zanfirico & tessera vase

This lovely vase was made by Michael Hunter for Twists Glass in 2016 and is a new design so we are even more delighted than normal to offer it for sale. It is a conical shape with a wide collar top. Above the red incalmo base are 24 zanfirico canes, 4 in terracotta & black, 4 in yellow & white and 12 in white that alternate white, terracotta, white, yellow, white etc. The zanfirico canes have been pulled so that they narrow towards the wide collar. The collar comprises 16 alternating tessera canes, 8 in black & white and 8 in red orange & yellow. The base is scratch signed "M Hunter Twists Glass 16" and has the Twists Glass studio label.
