Michael Hunter for Twists Glass limited edition 2008 concentric paperweight

This is an early paperweight that Michael Hunter made for Twists Glass in 2008 that we found on our last trip to the Studio.

The colours are very subtle.

In the centre is a pink white & black complex murrine cane that is surrounded by 7 white star & flower complex murrine canes.
These are surrounded by 12 white & blue complex murrine star canes.

The next ring comprise 16 complex murrine case - 8 being blue & white stars and 8 being white blue red & green star & cross canes.

The penultimate circle comprises 17 white & burgundy star & daisy complex murrine canes.

The very outer ring has 11 burgundy & pink flower murrine canes , 11 pale blue star murrine canes & 11 white star murrine canes.

The base has 2 of Mike's personal "MH" signature canes and it is scratch signed " M Hunter Twists 08 1 of 1" and has the Twists Glass studio label.
Presented in a white Twists Glass box.
