Michael Hunter for Twists Glass turquoise zanfirico cane lizard paperweight

This novelty lizard paperweight was made by Michael Hunter for Twists Glass in 2021.

The base is an orb of glass with a turquoise centre and gold and silver leaf & controlled bubbles.
There is a lizard curled across and around the top of the weight.
The lizard's body is a greeny turquoise, pale grey-blue, black and white zanfirico cane, as are the four legs.
The lizard's "toes" are turquoise canes.

It is signed "M Hunter Twists 21" and has the Twists Glass studio label.
It is presented in a white Twists Glass box.

Mike's lizard paperweight won Gift of the Year in 2002
