Michael Hunter for Twists Glass zanfirico cane lizard prototype vase

This is an early piece made by Michael Hunter for Twists Glass in 2007 as a prototype.

The long thin lizard has a body made of a blue white & yellow zanfirico cane with white & blue zanfirico canes for the legs & blue cane toes and blue eyes.
The lizard is crawling around the mottled blue glass & silver leaf vase.
The base is scratch signed "M Hunter Twists 07 Prototype".

This vase brings back wonderful memories of watching small lizards on the walls of our cottage in Botswana.
