Mike Hunter for Twists Glass "Rio" vase

This distinctive vase known as "Rio" was made by Mike Hunter for Twists Glass in 2015 and is a theme tribute to Dino Martens one of the great Murano designers. The flat wedge shaped base has been pulled out into a long and twisting neck. It has a multi coloured overlay randomly set with zanfirico and murrine canes of various colour combinations. The base has the Twists Glass Studio sticker and is scratch signed "M Hunter Twists 15 Rio". A superb piece of glass.
