Pair chrome & glass torchere style uplighters

These fantastic uplighters are made of chrome & glass. The cylindrical chrome base leads to a stem with three round facetted edge pieces of glass above which is a flared elongated tulip shaped chrome uplighter shade.

A number of years ago we purchased a pair of Art Deco American uplighters in aluminium and glass. We really liked the design of the originals but felt that the use of aluminium made them too light so we decided to use them as a template for these lamps. We also changed the height of the bases to give the lamps better proportions and used facetted glass in the centre rather than flat glass discs. The lamps were made in the UK and the glass was sourced in Stourbridge.
