Silver & ceramic brooch/pendant

This lovely brooch has a central ceramic panel that has been painted with a landscape of fields and clouds. The panel has been encased in a pear shaped silver surround of ivy leaves and other foliage and flowers. The back of the brooch is silver that has been hallmarked by the Birmingham Assay office for silver and the year 1993 and bears the sponsor's mark "PEB" in an oval cartouche. In addition to the brooch fastener there is a loop for a chain to enable the piece to be worn as a pendant.
