This fabulous evocative illustration is by Willy Herzig and was the front cover for Zu Tee und Tanz - a book of music published in Germany in c1927.
Along the top of the illustration are the words "Zu Tee und Tanz Band 9" in pink black & white cross hatched letters.
Beneath the letters are a pair of dancers both in evening dress in what appears to be a Tango hold.
The woman has a typical flapper hairstyle and is dressed in pink with a large pink ostrich feather and pink & green jewellery.
The man wears a top hat and evening dress.
Signed "Herzig 27" in the bottom left hand corner..
