Another wonderful illustration by Willy Herzig.
This one was the front cover of Zu Tee und Tanz - a book of music published in Germany in c1920s-30s.
Across the top of the illustration are the words "Zu Tee und Tanz Band 12" in green & sepia letters.
In the foreground is a woman in a green dress with a green ostrich feather and green & pink jewellery sitting on a pink chair looking down to the dance floor.
There is a man's head in profile in the top right hand corner - I like to think that he is bowing prior to asking the woman to dance.
The dance hall is in the background with dancers, an orchestra & large windows.
Signed "Herzig" .
It also has the publishers name "Roderdruck Leipzig" in the bottom right hand corner.
Mounted ready for framing.
