These silver and galalith olive sticks were made by the Sheffield company Viners Ltd in 1936. The top of each stick is a thick circle of red galalith from which protrudes a square silver wire the foot of which has been flattened to a spear shaped spike that has been hallmarked by the Sheffield Assay Office for 1936 and bears the sponsor's mark "EV" for Viners Ltd.
