This plaque or billiards/snooker trophy was made in the Art Deco period. The base is a rectangular piece of black veined hardstone, probably marble, on which is mounted a gilt metal cylinder. Attached to the cylinder is a red disc shaped piece of galalith mounted with a gilt metal image of a man playing snooker/billiards.
