Art Deco chrome & macassar ebony mirrored tray

This fabulous tray is French and was made during the Art Deco period. It has a mirrored base which slots into 4 macassar ebony rounded blocks that form both the feet and the corner posts of the tray. There is a square chrome rod running along each side of the tray and extending around the corners to attach to the macassar ebony blocks. A square chrome rod bridges the gap between the two blocks at each end of the tray to form a handle. One of the best trays that we have had!
