Bakelite & coquille nut bird wooden bookends

These are very whacky but unfortunately are NOT YZ birds. (YZ birds were made by Henry Howell some of which were retailed by Alfred Dunhill for a short period of time). I have been unable to determine who made these bookends as they are unmarked but have a coquille nut bird on each supporting arm. The birds have butterscotch bakelite beaks and composite feet. They have black centred and orange rimmed eyes and are great fun irrespective of their manufacturer.
