Marcel Renard bronze swimmer & marine life medal

This large bronze medal is by the French medallist Marcel Renard. The obverse depicts a male freestyle swimmer. It is signed Marcel Renard. The reverse depicts marine life namely four bubble blowing fish, a starfish, a jellyfish and marine foliage. Both obverse and reverse are minimalist in design but are more effective for being so. The edge is stamped "Bronze" and has the Monnaie de Paris Cornucopia mark and is stamped 1968 so the medal is a restrike. This is a great medal.
