This is a great looking clock.
Made by the English company Metamec towards the end of the 1940s & possibly into the 1950s.
it has a curved wooden frame inlaid with 2 stripes of blond wood veneer. The same blond wood forms the feet and top.
The round clock has a chrome outer rim a domed glass and a blond wood face.
The fingers are black metal.
We are not sure of the composition of the numbers - they could be wood or a composite of some sort.
The back case of the clock is made of brown bakelite.
On the face is a label printed "Metamec Dereham"
Serviced and running.
The movement is only for up to 24 hrs - the clock needs to be wound daily.
