Michael Hunter for Twists Glass white zanfirico cane lizard paperweight

This novelty lizard paperweight was made by Michael Hunter for Twists Glass in 2003 and so is an early piece.

The base is an orb of glass with a turquoise centre gold and silver leaf & controlled bubbles.
There is a lizard curled across and around the top of the weight.
The lizard's body is a white zanfirico cane, as are the four legs.
The lizard's "toes" are clear canes and it has turquoise eyes.
The base is scratch signed "M Hunter Twists 03".

It is presented in a grey Twists Glass box.
