The obverse of this lovely bronze medal by Robert Cochet depicts a side view of a kneeling nude woman with a sheaf of corn over one shoulder. It is stamped "R Cochet" on the bottom lefthand side. The reverse is blank.
The rim is stamped "1970 Bronze" with the cornucopia mark for the Paris Mint. This is a restrike, struck in 1970.

Designed medals for the Conseil de la Republique in 1946 and for the National assembly in 1951 & 1962.
